Yes, the core features are free: caller ID, spam warnings, blocking and the phone-app features are available to everyone. Premium membership adds extras such as more daily lookups, 'who searched me' alerts and the gold-themed call screen.
Identification is powered by community data contributed by millions of users and by verified business directories. When a number calls you, it is matched within seconds; the name, trust seal and any spam report count appear on your screen.
It is the experience introduced by the new update: when you set Turkcaller as your default phone app, every incoming call opens as a modern full-screen call screen showing the caller's identity. The dialpad, call history and contacts also move inside Turkcaller.
The Small Caller Card is a floating info card shown on top of your phone's own call screen; it keeps everything you are used to. The Full-Screen experience moves the whole call into Turkcaller: richer identity, in-call features and a smart history. If you do not want the full-screen features, choose the Small Caller Card in the setup wizard.
While full-screen mode is selected, the small caller card is disabled; identity is shown on the call screen itself. So if you dial with your phone's old dialer or any other app, we cannot show you who is calling. Always place calls and manage contacts through Turkcaller (the Phone and Contacts icons on your home screen).
Restart the setup wizard in the app and choose the Small Caller Card this time. The card experience becomes active again only after you make that selection; simply leaving full screen is not enough.
No. It stays on your phone; it simply stops being the default. You can always switch back by redoing the setup. Your call history and contacts remain on your device and nothing is lost.
Your contacts stay on your device and appear automatically in Turkcaller Contacts; no import is needed. Optionally, contact backup stores your contacts encrypted so you can restore them on a new phone with one tap. Only you can restore your backup.
Turkcaller identifies callers without reading your call history, using the call-screening framework that is fully in line with Google Play policies. Number lookups travel over end-to-end encrypted transport. Your data is never sold to third parties.
Report and Block actions are available on lookup results and on the after-call screen. In the Protect tab you can also block numbers or number prefixes, and enable automatic blocking of private numbers and callers not in your contacts. Community reports protect other users too.
Use the Manage My Number section in the app to control how your number appears, request a correction, or submit a removal request. Requests are processed promptly.
All phones running Android 10 or newer are supported. On iPhone, Turkcaller is available on the App Store with Live Caller ID support for iOS 18 and later.
